Deer Park ISD Carpenter Elementary Topping Out Ceremony

Durotech held a "topping out" ceremony at the Deer Park ISD New Carpenter Elementary School to celebrate the last beam being placed atop the structure. The $33.6 million dollar, 142,440 sq.ft. building is scheduled to be completed early 2020.
Sheldon ISD Complex TAMU Student Tour

On 3/27, Durotech's $191 million, 300 acre Sheldon ISD complex was the focus of a Texas A&M Construction Science Major Spring field tour.TAMU Construction Science majors toured the high school, stadium and elementary school.The project scope, level of finishes and public spaces is a major change for educational facilities.The three hour tour let students see first hand the challenges on a project of this scope.
University of Houston Capstone Course Competition

Congratulations to Durotech interns Ubeid Dzanic, Hilario Morales, Cameron Gros, and Osama Shehadeh. Their team won the Capstone Course Competition at the University of Houston. Capstone is the required course for graduating from UH with a construction degree and it consists of a team being assigned to a project and planning, estimating and scheduling it. Then the team formally presenting the team solution to a panel of industry professionals. It is competitive and requires a demonstration and communication of knowledge and clear thinking in all construction disciplines.
Goose Creek CISD Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

A group of dignitaries from Goose Creek CISD as well as teachers and members of the district's technology staff held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for the grand opening of the new Technology Center Building. The building serves as the technology center for the district and allows students and teachers to learn advanced computer techniques. It also houses the district's main servers in a secure fashion.

On February 1, 2017, Durotech held a “topping out” ceremony at the Grand Oaks High School to celebrate the last beam being placed atop the structure. Set to open in the Fall of 2018, the new high school will support 9th and 10th grade students and serve the Grand Oaks and Oak Ridge communities. In attendance were several administrators from the Conroe Independent School district, including Dr. Chris Hines, Deputy Superintendent of Operations, and Dr. Don Stockton, Superintendent of Schools.
